Levels of Difficulty

Our stated levels of difficulty (Level 1 to 4) are reference values and apply to an average water level with ideal outdoor conditions. Normally, slightly fewer difficulties are to be reckoned with in the event of low water levels. In the event of higher water levels, however, the level of difficulty can increase very quickly and markedly!

  • Easy Canyoning tour, newcomer level (from 14 years).
  • Medium Canyoning tour, suitable for athletic newcomer (from 14 years).
  • Difficult Canyoning tour, suitable for athletic individuals with rappelling and Canyoning experience (from 16 years).
  • Difficult to very difficult Canyoning tour, only suitable for advanced Canyoning enthusiasts (from 18 years).

Ticino offers many beautiful gorges than Canyoning paradise. Granite milled from, crystal clear water and impressive rock formations make sure that some ravines are hard to beat in their beauty. We have awarded four stars and more them.

The Action Factor

Many smileys available for Gorges with above-average many jumps and slides, coupled with impressive abseils. A few smileys mean that the Gorge contains relatively few jumping and sliding elements for longer block and terrain passages and increases abseils, which always back time to the take a deep breath and enjoy the nature.
