Canyoning Pontirone (Level 3)

This short tour will blow you away. An airy 42 metre abseil takes us deep into the cavern-like narrows of Pontirone, maybe the most beautiful section of canyon in all of Ticino. You will find several interesting, technical jumps, but you might be too busy looking at the scenery to realize how much fun you're having. Implementation:

Level of Difficulty:
Level 3 (difficult).

Requirement:
Prior canyoning experience or knowledge of active rappelling, good physical condition, good swimming ability, sure-footedness and absolute freedom from vertigo. From 16 years.

Length:
Total time approx. 3,5 hours (base-canyon-base), approximately 1,5 hours in the canyon.

Number of Participants:
From 4 to 10 persons.

Meeting Place:
According to confirmation, SwissChallenge Outdoor base Cresciano.

Included:
Canyoning Equipment (neoprene wetsuit, socks, canyoning harness, helmet and shoes), round-trip mini-bus transfer from the base in Cresciano, 2 qualified canyoning guides, beverages and snack (sandwiches) during the tour.
